We invite our small local business owners to support the Independence Fund in any way that is meaningful to you. As you may know, the capstone event culminates on Saturday, September 20th with Gary Sinise and the Lt Dan Band performing a benefit concert for the Independence Fund, but the week is much more than that for our wounded vets and their caregivers. It offers them a respite from the often-times grueling schedule of doctor’s appointments. It offers them healing and therapy through art, fishing, horse-back riding, biking, crafting, and boating. And perhaps most importantly, it offers them camaraderie with their fellow vets and caregivers. We know that these events change lives and sometimes SAVE lives. YOUR contribution to The Independence Fund makes this all possible during LDW5 and makes the week happen. Contributions at a leadership level ($250+) can expect public recognition throughout the year at various Independence Fund events, on the website, and especially during LDW5. Let’s show our vets and caregivers that our community supports them 100%.
